Havoc has some greys idk much about em but I'd say they'd make ok cross fowl. They look good, but I've never been a grey fan.

I’m a big fan of kelso and grey myself but that’s mainly bc that’s what I had growing up lol

Well that's all fine an dandy but the name is not near as important as the ones breeding em now for better or worse. I can only comment on those I trust and havoc is one of them that has greys if something was astray and you obviously took great care of em and listened to his advice he'd make ya happy if you weren't happy.

I've had people offer this or that and talk em up most of its bull! I don't need anything else other than what's here and some it pissed off that was interested in the females I let go of. It matters not to me I don't need em. Simple facts these are honest birds and I know that I don't know that about anyone else's, I don't need 20+ blood lines and I sure don't need sickness on my yard.

Be wary if you are after true honest gamefowl is my point.

I can agree with that I dealt with the same BS in coonhounds you could have grand night top and bottom or all grand pedigree and I wouldn’t throw a bullet at them yet the old dog that was bred out of some good ol boy real deal meat dogs would tree circles around the papered up junk what I’m getting at is your better off to breed and raise your own regardless be it chickens cows dogs etc knowing what you have and where it came from is key and I agree with you fully.

A good electric fence and trapping goes along ways trust me a coon can pull their heads right off in that 2x4 welded wire with ease. No need to ask me how I know. One could go years and be ok then that season the varmints decided to reside around your area you'll know it.

I’m going to be adding some electric to both pens soon the one I just built won’t have anything in it for a few more weeks but will most defiantly be putting two strands of electric around both of them. Coons and possums are thick here in wv atleast here in my holler they are
