American Gamefowl

Just a little confused, Who are you referring to by "she"? She has a game fowl \silkie cross? I have a couple of birds I received from a farmer that are a cross between a silkie and game fowl. When it rains they all look like they are having a bad hair day,lol

People are selling the cross birds advertised as game fowl in California! That can't be good for the game fowl breeders looking for new genetics. Hopefully any one with any kinda sense doesn't fall for that and contaminate their bloodline.

Buddy their are chickens labeled as gamefowl that couldn't be further from gamefowl but are closer to leghorns.

Trying to save a chick as we speak little guy was froze solid I guess he couldn't make it back up in the bucket last night. I brought him in put a lamp on him and he's coming to so he must have made it most of the way through the night. We'll see how it goes.

It's cold and extremely windy here suppose to snow tomorrow.

More bad news turns out 3 of the smokie blue or splash chicks were under the bucket gap and frozen aswell don't think these are gonna make it.

Trying to save a chick as we speak little guy was froze solid I guess he couldn't make it back up in the bucket last night. I brought him in put a lamp on him and he's coming to so he must have made it most of the way through the night. We'll see how it goes.

I don't think the wind is ever going to stop, it's just constant! You are colder than me, but I would like a nice calm down myself. I'll be hollering for a breeze come August though LOL

I'm trying lol is what it is but these are mainly for my son. Doesn't mean I wasn't looking forward to em especially the little yellow ones.

Yeah it's 36 here little sleet and a lot of wind. Spring needs to go ahead and get here honestly!

I've got 5 left I've got the heat lamp on the others in hopes to get them alive again like the blue one. Yeah they are mug/blues but 3 or 4 (I may have Miss counted yesterday and only had 9 cause looks like she has 2 eggs un hatched) were yellow and would most likely be splash or a smokie blue and they had yellow legs to.
