How many have u been able to see now

2 as of this morning very active healthy biddys she’s got 6 more left under her I didn’t collect them so I don’t know the exact date but I know they were all laid within a week I just let her do her thing hopefully they hatch she got these two out to eat and you can hear some more peeping in the nest box so I say number 3 ain’t far behind should all be here by the weekend

Usually they have moved out by this time of year. I've been watching this particular one for a few weeks. S/he returns from the woods in late afternoon If it's still around next year I'm going to catch and move it to the other side of the property, but most of them make their way back for winter.

It is. The pumphouse lid is approx. 4' I've had bigger for sure and I move them. I should have got photos the other day, it came back and had been eating something - had several lumps (rabbit? mice? rats? who knows- it comes back from out of the woods). Anyway, it was having a hard time squeezing back under the roof LOL It made it though.

I'm actually surprised it has not gone into the chicken run, I have those Haflings in there, but also the GF hen is with them. That snakes been around for a few years so it may be the one that encountered my hens a couple of years ago and doesn't want anything to do with adult chickens

3 biddys out this morning can hear atleast two more raising Kane inside the nest bucket. Hopefully she will hatch all 8 lol
