American Gamefowl

I just put three for now those plastic post ain’t worth a damn in corners lol I’m gonna replace them with 6 ft t posts and have 7 strands of wire.
I’ve never used the plastic posts but I did try the cheap metal posts. Bent the hell out of the first one and went right back and bought T posts.
Hawks and owls don’t care about electric fences though. That’s about the only issues with the birds on cords as long as you have a good working electric fence.

They do alright I guess but there not much for corners I snapped like 6 of them if you angle them to where the wire pulls against them it’s not to bad but I’ll be replacing them eventually just had to get it up for now we got a grey fox around here now. I may do the cords I’m not sure yet I’m still in the air on them right now. It’s defiantly been a job getting it all set up it’s defiantly nice to have them on good grass and a little away from the house. The dog kennel was the best idea I’ve had yet though for the biddies lol

3 wires is not enough for a gray fox even temporarily. If I were you I’d add more ASAP. I’ve had a gray get in my fence once with 6 wires. My charger wasn’t working properly but believe me they can get through 3 with space between them.

I’ll add a few more today when I get home we had a horrible storm Saturday so I was just fast enough to get the three wires on before it started. Lol
