American Gamefowl

Both look like females to me I know they’ve got some of havocs pumpkin in em what’s the rest? I don’t recall seeing any colored like the taller standing one especially stag wise. I can’t tell on the more taller standing one 100%. But looks colored like a female and the hackles and saddle look rounded to me for now. I’ve seen hennies colored like that one but ima say two pullets by those pictures for now.

Disclaimer I’m no expert grain of salt may or may not be needed lol.

There pumpkin hatch the guy I got my hen from finally cleared it up she’s out of McLean hatch blood that’s he’s had for almost 15 years.

Yeah I’m thinking so too but the one has me second guessing the chipmunk one really shocked me bc I always thought it was a pullet until today. The one with the green band is the only other one I’m up in the air over. It kind of stands like my other two pumpkin colored stags

View attachment 2300070View attachment 2300067Well I lost one of them day before yesterday due to a brother vs brother fight I penned the other two I knew were stags but this one I’m not sure I’ve always thought it was a pullet but now I’m questioning it considering it has dried blood on its legs? And it doesn’t look very feminine now any suggestions lol
I can’t free range just yet I let them out but put them up I’ve got to put actual fence up before I let them run lose I’ve got a nice wooded area behind the yard there on I’m clearing some brush off of but I plan to let them range once I get it done I just don’t want to chance losing another one over my stupidity. I’m learning but it’s Been lessons learned the hard way lol

She's sweet! She needs a pink bow to match that color though :)

Sorry to hear about the stag, that stinks.
I've not lost one, but I did have my 2 penned together last year, I think at around 2 months of age one got beat up. I separated them (of course). In the evening, I would let them loose together with me there, they did o.k. for another 6 weeks maybe, but then it was total separation.
This year, I'm going to see if I do have better luck with keeping them loose as long as I can, we'll see. They may end up being hotpockets in the freezer early LOL
You just do the best you can. I try to learn from my mistakes and I've made plenty and will make more before it's over.

trust me my wife dolls her up all the time with bows lol. And yeah it happens I’d have much rather it been something like that than dealing with a predator either way I still have 3 stags left to grow out. So hopefully I’ll find a good one out of them.

😱You done gone too farr there .... Dirty Pool Mister, Dirty Pool!:rant
Don't be hatin' on the Chloe Thing!

Actually I like her LOL She's hanging with that hen and the chicks. I've been watching her, she herds those chicks and feeds them too. I think I may separate out some layers next year and let Mr. Black cover them, then I can have some Chloe 2.0 :lau

Working on some sister wives I see. It’s like making a bowl of cereal with the some great tasting Cap’n Crunch then pouring piss in it instead of milk yet expecting it to taste good. It ain’t happening.
