American Gamefowl

She’s supposed to be a Mel sims black she came from the same farm as my other hen but it’s hard to tell what else is mixed in there or what he added he did say he had the same line for 15 years so I’m sure he added some of his hatch blood at some point

You aren’t gonna get perfectly consistent looking birds with recent crosses.
You do got a point it probably wasn’t smart adding new blood that soon especially to something that’s already been crossed. I know he’s one hell of a rooster probably the best one I own.

Nothing wrong with crosses just can’t expect them all to look the same and no telling what has been added to unknown blood either. They are all crosses at one point anyhow.
Yeah I highly doubt there’s anything out there that’s been kept pure all this time if it was they’d be a bunch of dung hills by now I’m sure. If they don’t pan out I’ll just take em to the stump and be done with it lol.

They weren’t ever my main focus so if they don’t work out it’s not gonna bother me the main one was the pumpkin cross. I’m gonna breed a pullet back to the bird I got from havoc and a stag to the hen and go from there. I won’t be selling any so what I don’t want will hit the chopping block

Doesn’t really matter but probably kelso or Asil at some point recently to have black feathers and white legs like that.

Pretty nice collar and it’s simple to take off with one hand.
