I would get a kayak before I would a canoe

I have a few of both and I like canoes better because you can carry more gear.

I’m just talking outta my rear most likely will be a long while if at all. In my mind though it would be nice to fish from something other than the bank and theirs a few good lakes within an hour or so.
Wilkesboro is definitely one I have on my mind we always worked the spillway as I was growing up. I had the kids down there for their dentist last week, but that’d be real hairy with kids so I thought against it.

Can’t really see it but there’s a dead possum under there. Nothing like getting out of bed with a possum messing with a hen on a nest.

Well I was asleep but now I’m up. I chased that bastard around the shed for awhile. There’s very little room to fit the rifle under there. I had a shotgun with coyote loads but figured I might blow up my shed with the gas cans in there. Lol
I ran inside to grab the .22 he kept moving around but I smoked him. Gotta get him out tomorrow.

Them .CCI stingers are great rounds. I haven’t shot anything yet that got away with them.
