A lot of times even with the straight blacks the yellow will go away with age. A lot of them have yellow in the legs when young.

Yeah that kinda stuff ain’t a big deal to me either color, eyes, legs etc don’t make the bird a keeper.

Ive got a plenty I didn’t go crazy Mac/pumpkins, Cuban/blacks, a few Mug/blues, A few blacks culled a few lost a few to weather early on.

Could have had a mess of little ones couldn’t hardly stop hens from sitting but luckily I found em and had too pull em multiple times. I’ve sure got enough hens to support going nuts.

I ended up with 5 stags and 4 pullets all together this year out of both breedings I made. Lost one pullet to a hawk and another to me waiting to long to pen. Overall I’m happy with what I got left. Ready for next year.
