Doesn’t matter they’re still crosses and until you continued breeding for what you wanted you aren’t going to consistently get similar birds. Either way both birds looks fine. Some have longer wings too. That bird just looks built a little different. Seems like splitting hairs at that age. You might like him better once mature.

That’s the point of the cross I want to accomplish to keep getting the same looking birds ,I mean I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what he looks like

That’s going to take time and a lot of culling it’s not something that will happen over night.

You’ll have a few generations of breeding before you get there. You’ll have to lock in what you like and get rid of birds you don’t. Simple yet takes time

That’s going to take time and a lot of culling it’s not something that will happen over night.

No of course not but I’m already seeing the straight comb bird as a potential breeder since I want black legged black colored birds and possibly black eyes as well I’ve been working already on a bloodline where I resulted in white legs and rose combs with long slender bodies and surprisingly strong legs I did that in a year and half I heard good results from them but I only wanted the beauty of their tails

I’m not going to get into all that but it’s like jim bob that rotated your tires or the the guy that engineer’d your tires.

I know what’s in mine as they are direct and not passed through 100 different hands.

I’m sure the birds are perfectly fine I wouldn’t worry much about wing set, leg color, comb type. In the end it doesn’t matter the rest is all up to you man.

Yes of course I have to do the first three generations inbred consisting all with original parents till I get espérate offspring to merge the families and possibly get the

not mine,here it’s passed through so many hands sadly but all I know is they are beautiful birds

Yea the recessive genes can be eliminated but the work is the fun part really work the genetics to create the perfect bird in my eyes at lesst
