Seriously man I do wish you the best but you gotta stop bringing shit from all over. Not Hillfolk but some of these guys will sell anything they don’t like, has showed signs of being sick, etc... you’ll end up losing money after you have to cull so many so it’s not usually worth the risk. Sticking with what you have will more than cover you for many years.

My plan is to single mate the trio I got from ftw and breed the rooster I got from him over a pure red quill hen and that will probably be all I breed this year. I will head back his way next year to get more definitely. I'm not selling birds and not bringing new birds unless they come from ftw due to the quality.

I agree with all of this 100%. I didn’t start out with the best of birds that’s forsure but I ended up with good ones from all over the world from different men with more or less the same values. I myself am very content with what I have now and I’m thankful to each one of them.

Think havoc just wants folks to do right by honest birds or we won’t have actual gamefowl left we’ll have pretend fowl that are weak and sickly at ever turn. And that’s what most would like to see is gamefowl more or less disappear cause they have no experience with them.
