Things are pretty much the same here which I suppose is a "good thing". Nothing too exciting. Birds are doing good. Culling time will be here soon enough.

Looks like you've been having a lot of fun with fishing and outdoor time with the kids! Is that Table Rock in the photo?
I think I remember you said you fish Keowee don't you?

Great eye, it sure is. Yea keowee, jocassee, hartwell, and alot of the rivers near us. I appreciate it. I'm going to try a new pen idea soon 3x5x4 out of the goat panels with the 4x4 openings

I appreciate it. Wish I could go more then the few times I have this year but when we are able it's great. 2lb line and a 7ft ultralight make all fish fun

Yeah I know what you mean. I usually use a small fly rod for blue gills and smaller bass. They’re all fun that way and every now and then you hook a good fish on a tiny rod. I’ve been pulled around in my canoe by a a decent bass a few times like that. Lol

I had a decent bass get off so I put the fly right back in the same spot. This guy took it and I hauled him clean out of the water and about 20 yds over my head and over the canoe. I’m looking at him in midair like WTH was that? Then I realized I just roughed up a little fish. he was fine though.
