I like mine.
I don't get 100 percent hatch rates...but I incubate $h*tty ducks. 😝

Been busy I see!
Oh my, The Stinky Possum, I don't like 'em.
It seems all the critters are out lately. 3 Raccoons this month...🙄

Birds and baby Goats look to being doing good:)
Eh I’ve lost some birds trying to get everything situated, actually just killed another baby possum about 10 minutes ago. Still getting everything ran for the new yard and thinning out the predators around here. Three coyote packs are around the woods in the new place, the barn is apparently full of possums, and foxes around my pond and all over the place. I’m getting some lumber soon and gonna build me some new stalls and fly pens here soon. Should be 5 widex15 longx6 high and imma try to make around 6 or so. Also gonna throw up a 40x15 for some layers. It’s hard to adjust from free ranging all my young stock for years to losing birds due to old wore out and chewed up fences

Sorry to hear about the losses :(

Looks like your making a dent in the population (hopefully). It's always something.

Did you move to a new place or just clearing out for new building and pens?
The new pens and stalls sound good. Those will be nice I'm sure, you'll have to post some photos of your progress.

Moved onto family land, about 15 acres with a good size pond and surrounded by cow pastures, a major state highway, and a 125 acre tree farm so there’s no shortage of them yet. I’m getting the lumber from work and it’s free so might as well put it too good use.m

I also moved to a new place recently. Still working on my yard but it's coming along nicely. Humidity issues with my incubator have made for a really really poor hatch rate so far this year. Issue is fixed now though and will get a new incubator next year if it doesn't pick up. I have a handful of eggs set to hatch every week for the next few weeks so we'll see how it goes. So far only have one chick that's a cross between one of my Claibornes over one of my favorite hens (a black Thai). Recently took a road trip and got a really pretty Blueface Hatch hen and a yellow legged Claiborne Hen to go with my others. The 4 Claibornes I had already are white legged and closely related. Found some history via internet diving and explained why the first pullet I hatched came a little spangled (I've also noticed a bit in her mother now)... They also came white and yellow legged. Looking foward to being able to breed them in decent numbers and selecting for myself. This hobby really has become an awesome thing for me. All day I look foward to coming home to tend to everything and watch my fowl. Ill probably post some more pictures soon. Hope everyone is enjoying this time of year and y'all are happy and healthy.
