I think this is the 3rd rat snake in my yard this year. This one was pretty small but the last one was pretty big.

First three are sisters. The first should hatch today or tomorrow. A fourth will be hatching in about a week. Eggs are already browning, then they keep tracking in clay from ground. Hatch still good so far.

Nothing like using a welsummer hen to hatch game chicks.

This pullet got 11 chicks out of 12 eggs. Remaining egg failed early. My son will be happy with this lot.
