ya thats the truth. usually somewhere the chicks cant get back into too. lol

Its going good. Spent past few years hosting Airbnbs on my farm and working from home. Planting lots of fruit trees. Setting up water systems... I went a little crazy with pigeons. and got a bunch of egg layers.

Also got me a new wife and we bred two little boys.

I’ve looked into racing pigeons a few times over the last few years and came close to starting to build a loft but changed my mind. It’s just so expensive to get into for all the equipment, feed, medicine etc….not to mention the ridiculous amount of hawks around here.

The hawk chases are magnificent to watch. Its like watching fighter jets maneuvers. The sound they make when the whole flock takes off shakes the inside of your body. I highly recommend. I could go on for long time about them. they are tough too and fight for nesting boxes, food, etc.

very cool. I was pretty close to getting racing pigeons like I said but once I priced everything out with the time clock, loft and everything plus the time involved I just decided it’ll have to wait. Plus all the race entry fees etc… I do still want them though lol
