American longtail breeders...a ?

I've seen some people selling "American Longtails". What would be considered an AL? Does it have to be 2 long tailed breeds crossed, i.e. a Phoenix/Yokohama cross to be considered an AL? What about a Jap and a Phoenix, would that be considered an AL? Thanks for any info.

American longtails are usualy phoenix or phoenix crosses that produce long feathers, good bodies for meat production and good egg laying charicteristics.

They also may simply be phoenix of a different color than the standard allows for.
