Americana Comb

I have a seven month old Americana hen who has pretty much no comb or wattles. I thought maybe the others pecked them off (blech) but she is in the middle of the pecking order and the lower birds do not have this problem. Is this normal?

Easter Eggers/Americanas, same thing, have pea combs and small wattles and you usually can’t see the wattles because of their beard. Google comb types of chickens and see if your EE’s comb looks similar to other pea combs.

Those are muffs. Beard would be more like tufts of feathers under the chin.
