Hello, once again I have a sick hen who I am puzzled on what to do.

She is at least 6 years old and was the top hen in my flock. Now she hardly eats anything and I can feel her keel bone stick out.

I have now had to resort to hand feeding her mushed up later feed. She will timidly go for treats and nibble on some egg yolk, but I have seen dyinf chickens react to food more than she has.

I don’t think it is a pecking order/stress problem as even when I separate her, she refuses to eat.

I have noticed that sometimes the bottoms of her feet get vividly yellow, but then go back. Possible a kidney problem, but I’m not sure how that would affect her food intake.

She poops rarely, but when she does it’s small and is covered with the white waste.

I have given her vetrx, plenty of probiotics and immunity booster medicines via their water. Now I’m even giving her freaking colodial silver.

I don’t think it is worms because the worms would have to get food in the first place for her to even get skinny.

Help would be appreciated. On my last legs here.

Worms don't necessarily eat what the chicken eats, they eat her blood are are likely sucking her dry.
Whens she last lay? Is her belly swollen?

Not from what I can really tell, I see that she has a hard time passing her poops. And with her she has not laid in years. Several times I have caught her mounting other hens like a rooster. But she has not laid in quite awhile. She may have every once in a long time, but may have mixed with the other eggs and flew under the radar.

Animals can get worms simply from ingesting infected soil. Given chickens peck around in the soil, it's inevitable they'll eat some. That said, it might not be worms. 6 is certainly getting up there for a hen so it could be something related to age. That said, I hope someone else will be able to figure out what's going on so she can be saved. I unfortunately don't know myself

I just hope it is not some sort of hardware disease. The fact her crop is constantly smoky and flat to the point I can’t feel it is scary. I hate to imagine the food and water just spilling into her.

I may start having her go on some dewormers. I have safeguard and corrid. I know corrid is more lenient when it comes to measuring, but can chickens overdose on safeguard? How much should I giver her?
