Americana not laying

I have 3 Americana hens and one of them has never laid an egg. They are now 2 years old and I still only get 2 blue/green eggs. I know there is no rooster. Anyone know what could be going on?

Is it possible she lays another color egg? Do you have a picture of her, including her comb?

Or maybe your EEs aren't all on the same schedule, and she's been laying on days when one of the others takes a break?

donrae raises a good point, EEs aren't guaranteed to lay blue or green eggs. You can get white and various shades of brown as well.

I was thinking that maybe they don't lay everyday, but when I have 2 blue eggs they are always the same 2 shades and sizes.Now one of them has had blood on her eggs. this happened with another chicken, but it stopped after a couple of days. I am not quite sure what is going on because the eggs are nice and smooth. Anyone have any input?
I will try and get pictures of the 3 Americanas tomorrow and post them.

I would guess you either need to try to catch each one when she is laying for a few days in a row or separate and confine the one for a few day/weeks to see if she is infact laying or not. I have 4 that lay tan eggs 1 brown and 1 green. But 2 of my tans ate nearly identical in shape, size and shade so I can't alway know who laid it unless a see one laying or they lay the same day. Fortunately those 2 are my heavy layers so at least 6-7 days I get 1 from each. On the other hand I had 1 winter layer(my brown egg) and one of my other girls that laid tan start in the winter. At the time both only laid 1 a day and most of the time on opposite days. Shape and size is very close so if it went for the color I wouldnt be able to tell those 2 apart either. Infact they both like to confuse me by one of them giving an off schedule darker or lighter then normal egg. I'm still not sure which of those 2 throws me the odd egg but I get one about once every 2 weeks or so. I really thought for a while the odd egg was my last layer as I expected a brown or tan egg from her, I thought she was just sneaking it in on me, but she turned out to be a green layer.

Anyways piont is, unless you can prove how laid each egg every day for at least a few days your best bet might be to separate her till you can confirm one way or the other if she is infact not laying, or laying something other then expected... I don't think I would wait 2 years, my last layer is 8-9 months we were going to give her till mid summer to try to confirm if she was laying. Km so glad she surprised us. But really at 2 years you need to find out for sure unless your ok with keeping a freeloader
