i might be going to get some chicks this weekend, some are americanas. my questions is, do all americanas lay the blue or green eggs? thats really what id like to add to my flock so im just checking because ive read some dont?

True, purebred Ameraucanas do. In most cases it is blue, shouldn't be green.

However "Americaunas" "Americanas" and "Easter Eggers" are actually a crossbred or "mutt" sold by hatcheries, feedstores, and often local breeders, and they lay almost any color of egg.
