4 years ago I bought "americaunas" to add to my flock. They were supposed to be 1-1.5 month old and were feathered like a 1-1.5 month old chicken but sized like a 2 week old one.

They ended up doing well and I squared away with the hatchery but after doing some random chicken research today I think I just got easter eggers.

First of all, 1 lays a green egg and I thought real americaunas are "purebred" to lay blue.

Second, after just checking the purchase confirmation it says "americana" not "americauna" which now seems like a different way of saying easter egger. Either way I love them to death but I feel a little slow just figuring out this revelation. So, am I correct to think they are just easter eggers?

Yes
Ameraucanas are one of the most popular breeds anyway so it's not like they are much more special than Easter Eggers.

Thanks for the reply. Well, even though I got something different, I'm still happy. This is one of them.
