Hey y'all..

. We got snow yesterday and today.

Not a whole lot but enough that I had to shovel away a darn drift in-front of my shop door. And it's cooled -off enough. So that means I'll be mushing tomorrow afternoon. Chat y'all later

Gee did I get jarred(like canned in a jar). I got called in to work today and just got home in time to do the chores before supper. I dislike harnessing and hooking up in the dark. Besides, I'm kinda tired....and then I ate a nice supper of Salsbury Steak & Basati Rice w/Mixed Vegetables so that made me lazy. So no mushing this day for this yahoo. Anybody out there mushing at-all? Blue? Rosie? Char? Spirit? Anybody....

I am! Been hitting the trails with a friend and her team every weekend and running Merigue at home every other week day. Plan on doing some races this year. Can't wait for snow! Then we get to go and camp on runs!

Hey guys! Haven't been on in a while....

Rez: your sled looks AMAZING! Love the color! Interesting foot treads, do they add extra shock asorbsion for you/your legs? No snow yet but supposedly we are due for a 'winter storm' says the weatherman. So we shall see. I've been training on the four wheeler (4 miles/day) we're a little farther behind than I would like but with it being so hot earlier this year we couldn't do much about it.

Blue: Awsome! How is training going? Are you still running Cindy? Or just Meringue?

Rose: That's good that Nala isn't pregnant. My sister's dog and dad's dog are both in heat and it's making me loose my mind trying to keep the other (not neutered) neighbor males away. They're locked up but the mutts still hang around. Anyways, how are your dogs doing?

Spirit: I like Adanac Sleds' collars. Same price but they are a (somewhat) local business and I know the owners. I've ordered from Black Ice and they were great and all, but their harnesses are more expensive than Adanac's are. Plus Adanac has the sled I want... Lol

Kooleos. I am so happy for you. I would love for you to have Oreo & Sparticus. Dang I'd feel so proud to see you win or even place...or even complete with them. And they would get used as opposed to being left behind most of the time.

Thank you. Yes I am quite pleased with myself and am basking in the glory of the accolades I've been receiving.
"foot treads", "extra absorption"(spell correct says 'absorption') Yes. I wear old style 'mukluks' or "wrap-arounds' that have no rubber soles added. I actually make them myself. They're warmer and lighter than anything I can find anywhere. The "treads"(on the sled) also pop-up when I get off them. That throws the snow off of them. So ya, absorption and traction.
"training" I too am far behind schedule. It was so hot this summer and into the fall and then dreary wet. Weird. Ya....Weather! What can you do eh. Live with it or ..... well.... don't...LOL

Monday is usually a very busy day for me running around doing the errands, but today I asked my wife to do it. We got some snow lastnight. Not much, but enough. About 3/4"-1". The trail looks amazing. I'm outa here. TTFN. Love and prayers.
