As for me....Just when ll the pups are dried off and ready to eat. Not coming out, not all slimy, just after they're all ready for presentable pix. Thank you

Okay, I found Alasan Malamute and 10th generation Timber Wolf crosses. Not sure how much but they will be ready around Christmas. I want one! Hopefully my parents agree to another dog... :/ It will be like a Christmas present to me from me.

I hope you comprehend Mals are more of a freighting dog, As I said earlier, a team of three could pull a large toboggan type sled loaded with tent, blankets, tools(in short the whole camp) plus a whole moose(processed),big sister little brother and mom while dad snowshed ahead.They're slower but very powerful.

Dogs can breed through the fence. I don't know much about his lines or history. 250 isn't bad, but the other dogs I'm looking at are only 150.

What kind of dogs do you people have down there. I've been raising continuously for the last 25 years(and sporadically before I settled down) and have never seen K9's breed through a fence.
Come tp think of it, I guess it would depend on the fencing eh. But still oven ever known for it to happen.
Oh yeah, on the subject of breeding, Pippon is in full heat.
What Y'all think I should put into her, a racer or a cookie cutter large sized Sibe/ Mal. This is gona be her last litter because she's getting old.
Remember, the attitude is from the female. If I put the racer into her all pups will share her pullingness and looks from him.
I could take the females from this breeding and use them for the big Blk/W Sibe/Mal. Or vise versa.
Lemme know what Y'all think.

It's was to fast, hectic and disturbing to have during pics. I only posted nursing and dry pics.
Birth is better in person then through pics.

Both. The litter can be sired by 2 males. Some pups will be to 1male and the others to the other male.
But I say the mal cross

I read everyone's posts and saw pics. While I digest my lunch for a bit before getting back outside(aw! All the snow melted again. Not even enough to make the ground soggy[which is good]) I'll try to respond to everyone's posts.
The pups are beautiful. I wish congrats on Nala. She did well. 6 pups is the average number of pups to a Sibe. Or any other ancient natural breed for that matter, especially sled dogs. I hope you respect her right to privacy so she don't get all stressed out. I'm glad you have sales for the pups. The cash will sure help with vet bills and food eh. By the time you take into consideration how much $$ you've spent on them in care costs $200.00 is low. Especially when some people are paying $1500.00 Canadian for these "designer dogs".

Breeding Pipoon.... Well that's a vote each for the racer Spaticus and the Sibe/Mal Max. When my fam gets home after school I will pose the same question to them and let Y'all know wuzup. If we put Sparticus into her we will have Iditarod type dogs, if we putmaxinto her we will have Sibe type but bigger. I like them both but really I don't wanna put both into her for one pregnancy. When the vote dictates which male, the pups can still be bred to other. And either way 95% chance of true sledders. Both males are strong pullers, except Max's mom was a Mal so he's slow like a Mal. Remember? Attitude from the female.

Gee I wish I could get pix on here. I would so love for Y'all to see my dogs, but I don't wanna mess around with this tablet. It ain't mine.

The weather is definitely conducive to further cooling and hopefully snow that'll stick around. Well, till next spring anyway.
