The pups won't drink the water, but they have full access to it.
Hank is so BIG!! The biggest for the litter! Lol
I'm talking to mom tomarrow after school. Mom keeps saying she doesn't know what to get me for Christmas, so I keep saying; Hank, Sled Stuff, Rabbit Stuff. Lol
I think I'm getting mom on board. :) she hasn't said her "NO!" Yet so I'm making progress! Lol
Mom knows I'm to stubborn to give up on something I won't or someone I love. :) hehehehehehe

Hopefully she says yes to Hank. :)

I`ve decide to save up for an ATV. My friend has sleds i can use and my mountain bike works well for training leads.

Tada! Luckily my family has a 4-wheeler but it doesn't run anymore... It's been rolled a few times when we went ice fishing and the horses aren't too nice to it.... Plus it's like 7 or 8 years old. I won't be able to use it unless I have a big team...

The pups are 3 1/2weeks old. And Hank is so close to being mine! But dads not giving way and I still need to talk to my brother. Nala quit nursing them them, she feed them 1 time today. And I've feed them 2 times today.
I'll get pic soon

Not unlike humans, dogs and wolves are preferably lazy.
In the wild wolves will use the same trails time and again because it was easier to walk on it rather than constantly slogging through 3 to 5 maybe as much as 6-7 feet of fresh unpacked snow.
Dogs will do that too preferring a packed trail rather than "GEE" into "unchartered" open country.
Humans take 9-5ers to make money to buy food, clothes and creature comforts because it's much too much hard work to kill a deer, take the brains out, rub it into the hide after scraping all the hair off of it with a section of leg bone sharpened on a rock to use as a scraper, then work it(hide)back and forth over a tree branch for like 4 days till it's(hide)soft, then gather wood and make smokey fire to waterproof it, then cut it with a knife made from flint fastened to a stick with rawhide, then punch holes in it with a bone taken from a rabbits leg and sharpened on a stone, then stitch it(hide)with sinew from the deer's back(after it's[sinew]been separated into threads and dried) put through a needle made by grinding a small animals leg boneon a rock to sharpen it(bone), all that to make a pair of moccasins(Cree word for shoe is mus-kuh-sin). The same process for pants, shirts, and any number of items.
Blankets were kinda tougher to do because the hair had to be left on and the hide still needed to be soft.
The children started their training for this lifestyle when they were young.
It's much easier to just do what is required to get that 9-5 job.

For SternRose
I work very hard for the little bit of cash flow I am lucky enough to have.
I do things other people prefer not to do, in most cases they are not as hard working as I am and/or the work is beneath them for some reason or another, quite often egocentric reasons.
Some people even go so far as to say that my "product" is too pricey and I shouldn't be paid as much as I get.
I usually just go "umhmmmm" or "I see", but sometimes I will tell people to come with me and help me and I will charge them less. Occasionally someone will accept and save themselves some cash and walk away with a greater understanding of "appreciation" but more often than not my offer is declined but begrudgingly my rates are paid for my product.
My point????.....
If you are the only one taking care of the dogs I mean like cleaning up after them, do you not get a little extra allowance?
Forgive me for being the devils advocate again but I should think that if people want money from you for Hank I feel it's just fair, since it seems to me you are the only one to do that work you do, you should also be compensated for it.
That's just my thoughts and feelings.
I say again, it is not my intentions anyone would become insulted, angered or hurt.
I wish only to assist truth, honor and mutual respect.

I'm happy for you that you've made up your mind.
Personally tho, I would've taken the sled and gear.
The pix are nice. Yup, nice sled. Good size, nice shape/condition, colour too.
Cooker, well....holes shoulda been at least three quarters of the way up.

Hey, I would tell my dad and brother (if I had one) that if they want to use it then they could chip in a little bit. Tell them that if they help pay for a certain percentage then they get to use it _____ hours a week or something.
Yuck and yay!
Looks like a really nice sled. :)
Hehe, me too....
He is getting big!
Yeah. Humans are the only animals who drink another animal's (cow) milk on a regular basis and be fine. We've evolved enough to do so but dogs and other creatures haven't. That's why some people are lactose intolerant; their bodies can't handle a different animal's milk.

True that. Lactase is no longer manufactured by my body. I can drink maybe one glass of milk. More than that and "OUCH". Much flatulence and like them poor pups............

I'm going to talk more with my brother and mom, when they get him. :) I might even get a bigger discount on Hank. :)
