Nala current harness. I hand made this out of old harnesses, collars and belts.

Wow. Good one

She didn't when I first got her but lately she's been inhaling food, not eating :idunno

Hmmm... Maybe try sitting with her and feeding her a little bit at a time. She might be doing that because she's afraid her neighbours may try steal from her.
I've noticed that happens when I move my dogs, and even more so if I actually move them into a different configuration with new neighbours .

Helpful, thanks. :)
I might look into that. Learning a few words in other languages can't hurt. Hopefully Burner will be okay. I don't know about up there, but gets are expensive here. Go in for a little check up and BAM! $200+ billed to you. Lol

You are more than welcome.
We actually hooked up Burner yesterday. He's okay. Still swollen a bit but not as infected as it was.
Yes, vets can be very expensive. That's one reason I don't feed my dogs commercial dog food if I don't have to.. That stuff actually is the cause of so many ills suffered by domestic K9's and then we take them to the vet to get them "fixed up". Oh well, "one hand feeds the other" I guess.

I was looking at the pics. Some nice ones on here. Mind if I take them and make em into posters? ....Or props for a workshop.
I want to host a mushing workshop for my community. I wish to endorse healthy alternative to slouching in-front of an idiot box with a game-controller in hand.
My plan is to invite some mushers that I know and get them each to show a different aspect of mushing to the participants.maybe one musher/aspect to a pod/group,of participants so a participant in GroupA will need to network with a Group B member and a GroupC and vise-versa. You know, "network" with others to "get mushing".
Also, I read that book"TRAINING LEAD DOGS by Lee Fishback. That was years after I'd trained my first leader. All said, all info is info. I used what I felt was warranted. Okimaw was a better leader than Baron, Baron was better than Snowball. Maybe Burner will be better than Okimaw. Nah. Ain't no lead gona be that good. Different yes, but not like him.

Love Lee Fishback!!

We haven't had people come look at the pups because my brother has a bad case of strep through.
So well have the 5 for a while.

The pups wouldn't stay in the sled. Lol

Called it, lol.

I'm happy for you that snow came.
Here it's really cold. Or it feels really cold probably only because it's been so warm lately.
My 16 yr old daughter and I took out my 7 yr old daughter and my 4 yr old niece for a dogsled ride yesterday eve. Man o man these creatures are powerful. Our first curve found Sav(16 yr old) and I both holding the handle and one of the snow hooks while beong dragged in the snow and both little girls upside down in the snow. The sled tipped because Sav knocked me off balance as we were going into the curve. We were both standing on the runners till that point.
My niece wasn't hurt but my baby hurt her back and shoulder. She still wanted to " mush" tho. Just like me, stubborn. We did go for a nice ride after that, short but nice. The little girls got cold. -25*C is a bit cooler than -20*F, definitely not suntanning weather.
Did you go out yet?

Uh oh. Not good. It was about 7*F here and we got about 8 in of powdery snow. Nope, not suntanning weather for sure.

You are more than welcome.

Do you know why he is swollen and such?

Oooo that's a good idea. Might have to do that with my town/school.
