I kinda checked it out. Ace is an excellent starter but will need encouragment, patience and training to finish well in a race longer than 10 miles. He will finish but not well. Also he does a beat of a"MALE" streak in him where he is kinda snippy or even snappy with other males.
Just thought I would provide you with a few facts about him in the event you would use his "realness" in the "pretend race".
On the "pretend race" note, you're pretty darn good "real" with your pretending eh. Cool. Ryton. go for it. I'm putting a pretend wager on you and your team.
oh ya, if you need a cpl extra dogs remember, if the weather aint like -30*C Ashliegh, Sparticus and Oreo are " feild leasable" in the event some of "your" dogs become unable to continue.
That means from a "field of 16 dogs you are allowed to use 12 at any given time according to race rules" and you have "leased" some dogs from me, the "leaser" who "leases" dogs only to people he knows will do their utmost to guaretee safety and healthy use of and return of those dogs by you the "leasee".

How's that to add some more realism to your "pretend race"?
LOL. that's pretty intense eh.... Have fun. and let me know how things go .......because me the "leaser" is on vacation on a secluded Pacific island somewhere south of The Glapagos Islands eating pineapples and drinking coconut milk and swimming with the dolphins.

So in the next cpl days I'll paddle my dugout canoe to the next island(should only take me 7 hrs to get there if there's no head wind) to use their radio to bounce my signal off the next passing ship to touchbase with you regarding how you're doing in your Distance Race, and/or when I get back to my comfy couch and laptop I will go to Sled Dog Central and check the standings.

Me likey. I would love to have at least 3. They would be awsome for training saller teams, maybe 4 of my dogs. Aint they very similar to the one I posted a pic of?
