Americauna chicks personality

I bought 2 Aracauna / Americauna chicks yesterday from the local feed and grain (originally
from Murry McMurry). My first of this breed. On the way home they made not a peep.... put them in a small cage
I use and they just stood there. Eventually they lied down and just stayed in that position for
most the day. I thought "could they both be sick"...... Today they're up a bit, eating and drinking,
but just really quiet and not walking around much or as active as other chicks I've had.

So my question is.... is this breed really docile and quiet compared to other breeds .... i've had barred rocks
black stars, red stars and brahmas..... and these little girls just seem different.

I got some Ameracauna chicks this spring too. They will be 5 weeks old on Tuesday. They are very quiet, gentle & friendly. I think you will really enjoy them. I ordered one rooster in the batch. He is pretty bossy to my other chicks. I guess he is making sure he is top guy.
