I have 4 Americauna chicks. 1 chick has coloring on its shoulder as in the top pick, the other 3 have a silver shoulder as in the bottom photo. I'm thinking that the silver shouldered ones are males, they act like I would expect a male chick to act, challenging the other silver shoulders, and cuddling with the colored shouldered one. Oh, and they are bigger than all of the other chicks. I'm not positive of this but it makes sense to me of what I am seeing. Does anyone know if the coloring of the wings is an indicator of sex in an Americauna which are only 3 weeks old.
