Americauna Hens Mating?

Hello!
I just brought home 2 Americauna hens ( they look exactly the same!), and they are just under 1 year old. Anyhoo, I was watching them playing in their pen, and one of the hens got atop of the other Americauna hen and begin to mate like a Rooster! Their combs are small, their feathering is hen-feathering. No sickles, or pointed hackle feathers....What on earth is going on?

Sometimes they do that. I've also had separated roosters mate each other, and duck hens without a drake mating.

Hens sometimes mount each other in a show of dominance.
