I have 2 Americauna hens, one blue and one black. We've They are only about 5-6 months old.

I just got my first blue egg less than a week ago!!! And we've been getting an egg every day for about the past 5 days. I know the black one is laying for sure, I saw her go into the coop and lay an egg at 2pm 2 days ago.

My questions is about egg size. How big are Americauna eggs?

The first was 1.4oz, and from then on about 1.5oz. My RIR lay eggs that are 2.5oz so these look tiny compared to our other hens. Is this the normal size for Americauna eggs? Or will they get bigger? Are they small because they are so young?

Almost a month later. And their eggs are still small. I see all these posts and pictures with large eggs. But mine are still only 1.5oz?
