EE is a variation of americauna right?

Well, not exactly. Ameraucana (note spelling) is a true breed with a standard and only 8 accepted colors. Easter Eggers are what 99% of the hatcheries sell, birds of mixed genetics that may lay any color egg, have any color legs, any color plumage and may or may not have beards.

Generally, I'd say most EEs tend to lay green eggs, but not all. Ameraucanas MUST lay blue eggs to be considered Ameraucana.

http://www.ameraucana.org/scrapbook.html will show you the colors of adult male, female and chicks.
