While I have you all... Thanks for the ID on the other hen.

Just to be sure, is this an Americauna? She has grey legs and lays a greenish-beige (like camo green) egg. Her feathers are a bit different fromt he others, they stick out straight on the sides of her head. I do not know what that is called. She honks like a goose so we call her "Honkey Chicken".

Thanks!

Definitely not Ameraucana. Shes an EE, Ameraucana don't look like that and don't lay greens eggs.
The feathers on the face are called beard and muffs.

What? Ameraucanas don't lay green eggs? Or is it that they lay blue eggs and EE's lay green?

Ameraucana only lay blue eggs.
EE can lay any color eggs.(white, blue, brown, green)

Green eggs come from having both the blue egg gene and brown egg genes.
Green eggs from a blue egg laying breed like Ameraucana indicates it has been crossed with another breed that lays brown eggs.

There is no pure breed that I know of that lays green eggs.

Definitely a Easter Egger... Looks just like mine that came from MM hatchery. They call them Wheaten Araucanas/Americanas. Very funny considering there is no I in AMERAUCANAS. Two of them lay cream colored eggs and the other one lays a green egg. Oh them beautiful crazy girls!

Henrietta lays blue eggs, but she's not a recognized Ameraucana variety. She's an EE, right?

She is still an EE,
Ideal does not sell Ameraucana no matter what they say.

e.
I have Blue, Black and Splash Ameraucana. The Splash color is not recognized color for Ameraucana but, Splash is a color. So my Splash would be a non standard color Ameraucana due to the genetic links behind the B/B/S colors. Henrietta is not a Recognized color of any breed.
