Ammonia for cleaning.

My flock got coccidiosis and I was told to clean the coop out with ammonia. How long after I do this can I put chickens in the coop again?

It only needs a basic cleaning. Out with old, wet bedding and in with the clean, dry bedding.
Coccidia oocysts are everywhere. They multiply out of control and cause infection in damp conditions. They cannot be eliminated in a non-sterile environment.

Whatever your cleaning method, make sure that the coop is absolutely DRY before returning the chickens.
