Amoxicillin?

Hi, long story short- I have a sick chicken and I was wondering if anyone knew what the dosage is to give a chicken amoxicillin? I have read different things and I do not want to give her too much or too little. Thank you

What type of symptoms are you seeing? Amoxicillin can help with skin and reproductive infections, but does not help with respiratory diseases from mycoplasma (MG.) With a respiratory disease such as MG something like tylosin would be more effective, although diseases caused by viruses would not be helped Amoxicillin maximum dosage in chickens is 57mg per pound twice daily. I would give 125 to 250 mg twice a day for 7-10 days. Fish Mox amoxicillin is sometimes found in some feed stores and is found online. It helps to know a weight. Here is where to get it online:
