hen gone broody...hmmmm...six duck eggs...what to do, what to do?????
odds are they are fertile as there are boys and girls in the duck yard and I have seen the post mating zoomies around the yard...and I have heard the p-nut gallery cheering during the mating process...
fingers crossed for this hen/duck egg adventure...
Walter, my rooster, may have to go into therapy or hire a divorce attorney when Mellow Yellow walks out with a troop of ducklings...
Gave her the eggs yesterday so now we wait...it is almost like being pregnant or something...I can almost feel labor pains when the eggs start to crack and the babies take forever to escape and enter my world...
