An Angel's purpose

Without saying anything else, Helen turned and ran again. She stopped inside an ally, catching her breathe.

Helen heard voices not far off, one female and one male.
"She was an angel-blood?"
"Quartarius, yes! I'm telling you! I felt it. I just... could."
"Sky, she was 12..."
"It doesn't matter, Sebastian! You were born demon! She could have been born angel!"
"Sky, calm down..."
There was a deep breath. From Helen's viewpoint, at the other end of the ally, she could see two silhouettes against the setting sun.
"Sebastian?"
"Yes, my dear?" The man said, stepping just a little closer.
"The angel-bloods are everywhere and I think we're the only demons bearing the Faustian Contract."
The man sighed, putting his hands on the girl's shoulders and putting his forehead on hers. She was breathing heavily and he was struggling to remain calm. She leaned forward and kissed the man gently. "Calm, Sebastian. Just stay calm."
"They're gonna come for us, Sky... I can't let them get to you."
"And they won't. I won't let them get to me or you."
"We don't have backup here."
"We will soon, Sebastian."
"Who?"
She was about to reply when the girl gasped and looked right at Helen, her eyes glinting purple in the darkness.

Amy was lightly awake, but still in a trance.

He noticed her waking, up he headed back into the woods.

Helen gasped. "How did you....?" But before they could answer, she turned and ran to the forest with inhumanly speed.

He noticed her waking, up he headed back into the woods.

He finally reached a waterfall, he looked back making sure no one was following, he seen nothing. He walked behind the waterfall and laid Amy by a wall and sat on a pelt.

Helen gasped. "How did you....?" But before they could answer, she turned and ran to the forest with inhumanly speed.

"Get her!" She started to run forward, but Sebastian stopped her. "Sky, it's not worth it."
"She's the Quartarius!"
"It's NOT WORTH IT!" Sebastian suddenly shouted, and Sky flinched; backing away. She drew her arms up to her chest, fear in her eyes. Sebastian's eyes were beaming crimson, looking right into her. He had lost it.
"S-Sebastian...?"
Sebastian's expression softened and he ran forward and threw his arms around her. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."
"Sebastian," Sky begun, speaking quickly, "something's driving you insane. Sebastian, what's wrong, tell me!" She cupped his cheeks in her hands nervously. "There's something wrong, some form of rage in you."
"Nothing's wrong..." He said, then gripped his forehead and staggered, grunting in pain.
"Sebastian!"
"I'm fine... I'm fine... We just need to get to the hideout!"
And they were gone.
