An Early Christmas Surprise!!!

I'm still looking for day old brooder buddies for our singleton. Our broody moved over to the next nest box and I saw that she adopted atleast 1 egg, am letting her stick with it.
Am having my DH rip out the roosts tomorrow and redesign them along the back wall and he'll add a brooding nest in the next few days so all the girls can be happy if one or more is a mother at heart.

How long is it healthy for a broody to stay in the zone? I spoon feed her a protein treat (cottage cheese, yogurt, mozzarella) everyday. I've only seen her hop off the nest to eat and drink once-I'd like to think she gets down atleast once a day but don't know. I've added vitamin/electrolytes to their water hoping that helps her as well as the others.
I think I've read that some break their broodies, is that a good idea or even possible? Is it best to let it run its course? Obviously, she has the desire/instinct and if I/we were better prepared we'd have had a special area for her to brood with her peep. Thank you for all of your input already, all is appreciated!!!
