an EE with orange legs?

my yellow EE chick (now 5 days old) has orange legs and feet....but her "sisters" who are chipmunk brown EE have the green legs. is this normal for my yellow chick? will her leg color change since she's an EE?

Yes! My pale yellow EE chick had bright orange legs and feet. As she got older, the color darkened to the typical green. No worries Here's a pic of my girl now.

Wow! thanks! did your yellow baby have a chipmunk pattern? i've SEEN yellow EE that have a pale chipmunk pattern, but are still yellow chicks. mine has NO pattern.....just yellow all over. SWEET girl too!!! what color eggs does your girl lay?

I also have one yellow EE chick. Her legs, compared to my other EE chicks, are not green and I wondered about it myself .....she has a really pale cream stripe on her back.

She did NOT have a chipmunk pattern, just a very pale yellow with lovely little cheek muffs Not sure about the egg color!!! I have three EE girls, they usually each lay an egg a day. Somedays they will all be a lovely mint green color, sometimes I'll get an olive-colored egg and occasionally I will get a gorgeous blue egg! So, I've no idea who lays what! But in general, the mint green color is the most often layed

DH brought home 3 EE's Thursday...one is a chipmunk and the other 2 are yellow with a tan spot on their heads...they all have yellow feet/legs. Yellow chicks have the start of the muff/beard.

I have two EE chicks, the chipmunk pattern, and one has green legs that she just got within the last few days or week, and the other one still has flesh colored legs. But today I noticed her's are beginning to change too! I love the green legs, they are so odd
