Was looking at a YT vid about them this evening. So many chickens, so lil coop room. Sigh!

ETA: Will be cool after some months (maybe years) to see which breed(s) I really settle on and choose to A L W A Y S have in my flock. I suspect Brahma will be one though not known for prolific egg laying. Will be my pet babies.

Oh and the dark brahmas I ordered are unsexed. I would rather give a cockarel away than cull him (my brahmas). But I know NO ONE local into chickens.

ETA: Will be cool after some months (maybe years) to see which breed(s) I really settle on and choose to A L W A Y S have in my flock. I suspect Brahma will be one though not known for prolific egg laying. Will be my pet babies.

I love Brahmas.

These past 2 weeks since I sold Ludwig and some hens are the first time I've had chickens without Brahmas (I sent his favorite hen with him).

I was surprised by the Blue Australorps -- I'd only gotten them because the Delawares weren't available.

I love your list!! Especially the Brahmas! I can’t wait for mine! We just can’t put them in the coop we have. It’s not really big enough for them. It’s more built for a standard breed. I would totally take your males! Only if I lived closer!!

I ordered more French Black Marans. I love the one I got in my assortment. She is so sweet. Every time I go out there she runs up to the fence and just walks around the run with me! And she is just so pretty!

My Brahma is sooo gentle. I love her! And my Welsummer is the chick who likes to hang out in my lap.

This is honestly the most frustrating part about waiting….they shipped yesterday and yet I know they aren’t just setting there. This happened last time too. In fact they actually tracked it to St Louis MO, but even after they arrived at my post office, they were “still in St Louis”. The post office needs to get with the times.
