So... our chicken was attacked by a dog a few days ago pretty severely https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...wound-b-n-leg-and-body.1183777/#post-18689015 and we noticed while bathing her that there’s a bubble on the back of her neck. We haven’t seen it before, but honestly we usually can’t see our chicken’s skin so easily. Is this normal?

No.. it really just feels like an air bubble. The skin is almost see-through. It doesn’t even feel like fluid.

Can you take her to a vet?

Looking at the extent of her injuries in the other thread, I suspect what you are seeing/feeling is a ruptured air sac. You mention that this bubble feels like it's filled with air - is she having difficulty breathing?

It's hard to know whether to release the air or wait and see if it takes care of itself. If you do release the air, then if would be best to administer antibiotics to help fight infection.

I agree, that appears to be subcutaneous emphysema or a leaking air sac. Without having respiratory distress, I would probably just watch it. If she is having labored breathing or clicking, then you may want to use a sterile 18 gauge needle to barely pierce the skin, and push all of the air out. Hold the hole with a clean finger or cotton for several minutes to hopefully seal the hole. It may take more than one stick, and air sometimes will come back.
