I used to have chicken wire on mine, but the tree "stuff" kept falling on it and it was sagging.

I now have corrugated tin roofing panels and it is great. It shades the birds and keeps water off of them.

My DH put deer netting up. It is to keep my chickens in, it is working well for now, but DH says he knows he will have to replace it by fall. Most of our 6 acres are woods., ton of leaves. I also strung CDs from wire, it kept the wild birds away from the run (at least I think it did). Good luck, Theresa
