I went to the feed store today to buy more food and I looked at all the babies there like we always do. Well, today when I squatted to look at the ducklings I noticed that one is limping badly, like it's leg doesn't bend quite right. I told them I wanted it because I knew continuing to walk around on the mesh stuff and with the other ducks he wouldn't make it long. :-( So... I now have what I think is an Indian Runner. The biggest concern I have is when it tries to stand upright the way normal Runners do, it leans over really bad. I'm considering running back to the store and get another duckling to put with him (my fiance will be thrilled), because even tho he's outside with the other ducks, he seems very unhappy... would that be a good idea, or would it be better to leave him alone? Is there anything I can do for him to help him heal? I'm going to go take pics and try to get a video of him walking so y'all have a better idea of what's going on.
