I have been using the walmart digital humidity reader in my LG hatcher. I have 4 of them and they all show something different and they don't seem to last long. Is there something better, like an analog humidity reader. How do you do a wet bulb reading without opening the lid of the hatcher and letting humidity out?

Recent buzz has been about the really cheap analog hygrometer from Petco. They are about $5 if memory serves. They are usually accurate to within just a few %. Mine is -4%. Easy enought to account for. Otherwise you can go to a cigar shop, they should sell analog hygrometers that have a little screw so that you can actually calibrate them.
PS: Hunker down....It just started to snow....

Yep. PetCo has a nice analog hygrometer. Only ~$6. I have one and it calibrated to within a few % accurate. It's in the reptile heating section.

Cheers!
