Oh I adore mine. I only have 2 hens left

I lost both drakes and my Lavender female this summer and I am frantically searching for babies or eggs. Because of their critical status, they are getting hard to come by.

These were my babies.... I lost the Lavender, Sasha and the Black, Onyx in the puddle and KitKat the Chocolate in the grass.....I still have Mounds and Hershey two chocolate girls. Sadly, Mounds is all alone, her mate was KitKat and she just wanders around all by herself. Hershey joined the Harlequins and is hanging with them but not Mounds

That is why I want young ones so Mounds can look after them and have duckies just for her pals.

Hershey is not in this video

As you can see they where in with smaller ducks. Well that comment about them not really caring about a pecking order.....it is 100% TRUE! They took care of these babies like they where there own. They are so nice and calm. Even now when my muscovy babies are out with them they take care of them. Acctually one of my little male muscovies has tried to dominate over my ancona drake. And my ancona stood there and looked at him like "Eh whatever!" And this muscovy was trying to tear him up.

They are very sweet ducks!

All thanks to aineheartsyou! We will both be getting some...she is getting FIFTEEN and I am getting ten. So thankful she told me about Boondockers when she did. I thought I was going to have to wait till spring!!! Yahoo that I don't, but I still have to wait a few more days......

Sigh..........

A GREAT IDEA! i got my 2 babies pictured earlier from toadbriar & they are wonderful! so sweet & love their people. my lady with the mask really loves to be around us (they both do, but she sings the loudest about it) and both are more than happy to curl up on my lap while i knit (or now, while i drink my coffee & show them pictures of their clutch mates). they are wonderful ducklings & clearly got a lot of love before they came to me.

Hello! I am new to ducks, and my husband and I got several ducklings from Cackle Hatchery just before Easter. The Anconas are my favorite! I was wondering if anyone can tell me when I will be able to tell the girls from the boys? Thanks.
