Ancona ducks

Yea all seem to be chickens though :( I'll keep looking, plenty of time until spring :) I read that theyd originated here but there don't seem to be any breeders of sorts here that i can find.

It's such a shame, I really want a few like her and can't seem to find them anywhere. Does anyone know of there are any other names for them?
You might have had a Magpie. They are pretty common in the UK, from what I have seen online.

I have had both breeds, and the magpies were only slightly smaller and friendly as the rest of them. Good luck!

I'm not sure, I'll try to find a pic of her to post later, she definitely looked more
Like an Ancona from the pictures Iv seen but we did get our original
4 from a mixed batch so im not sure :(

You might want to go ask this question on the Ancona duck thread. I don't know if you'll have any better luck, but it's worth a try.

Not sure which one to use! If only you lot weren't so far away! Would nip over for a few eggs!
Missing all the little things now... Like her being there when I change my ferrets food waiting for any scraps from their Biccy bowl :(

I saw you were hatching ancona ducklings in the spring. I was planning on getting a pair of pekins, but then I read that anconas lay better and are much better foragers than pekins, which is what I'm looking for. How much do you charge for your ducklings, and will any be available soon?
