ancona egg laying ?

I have a ancona female she like 13 weeks old and my drake already has started to mate with her. When should I expect eggs ?

My runners - all girls - started playing hop on top about a month before the first egg, then over the next six weeks the rest started laying. Larger ducks take longer, I am told.

Please keep a close eye on them - some drakes will mate too much with a duck and hurt her, sometimes fatally. It is not every case, but enough that I wanted to let you know.

I'm keeping an eye on them for sure and they are about the same size now but I think the drake will out grow her ... thanks you for your help
