Ancona hen or Roo?

Hi all, I got this bird from a feed store in July. It was about 4 months old when I got it so now it's about 9 months old. Lately it's comb has gotten huge! Not bright red like my laying hens but just bigger than over ever seen on a hen. I was sure it was a hen until now. There's been no crowing from it whatsoever. I just refreshed myself on what the hens of this breed look like and it seems they do have huge combs so I'm hoping it's a hen. What do you think?

Thank you! I thought it was my black sex link that was my new layer. Her comb is much smaller of course but much more red than the ancona's. But the new layer is laying white eggs and I read that the black sex links lay brown. So I guess it is the Ancona that started laying two days ago! Thanks again!

She is so cute.

She is very shy and was so sick when I got her. She's doing much better. The feed store I got her from had such interesting breeds and a better variety than my normal store. I will never buy from them again but I'm glad I got her. I got some beautiful hens there.
