We're still debating on our Ancona (pullet or hen).
They are 13 weeks old. When did your Ancona roo start crowing?

Are they early crowers or late?

Fingers crossed for a roo that doesn't crow much. ;-) I'd keep him and hope my neighbors wouldn't say much. My closest neighbor suffers from hearing loss and never says a word about our barking dogs. And, we hear a roo somewhere else in the neighborhood, it's a lovely sound.

Paige (the suspected roo) is the one with the red comb/waddles.

Well I had Anconas just a couple weeks ago.. I sold them. Anyway yes they all look the same and it was hard telling what is what. It seems like they all look like hens at first, then it will get to the point were you think you know what one it the Roo and right where you think you have it figured out, you find out a couple weeks later the other hen might be a Roo to [IMG]. So no I cant answer your question, but I can tell you I had the same problem to. I sold them @ 6 months of age
