Anconas mating at 14 weeks

I hatched 6 anconas March 1st and they are mating at 14 weeks! Isn’t that a bit early? Should I expect eggs this early? I know I have one drake but suspect a second one as there is another duck that is bigger than the rest but it doesnt have the curl on its tail yet.

I would take the time to voice sex now and make adjustments to your flock ratio before you get injuries.

Ive tried that and I “think” I have one male......Im new to ducks so I’m learning.

On a slightly amusing note, I did not know there was a type of duck called an anaconda, and I was very concerned why someone was talking about snakes in a duck thread! Oops!

Its actualy ancona, no third a or d. Its a pretty cool breed though!
