I have some friends who purchased some chickens from TSC. They were mixed evidently and they are unsure of the breed. Any ideas? The black ones have feathered feet.

the black ones are some kind of marans... probably the midnight majesty ones... which are a mixed color marans.
The brown one could be a brown leghorn...

Yeah, the second one has a crest, probably an Easter egger cross welsummer and legbar.
