You should shave your head, and then shave Ginja's head and take a family portrait

Ginja would NOT be amused!!

She would love it, it would give her a breeze so she wouldn't get too hot

Ginja was MAD this afternoon - we had a HUGE thunderstorm and the kids were out on the deck in underwear getting SOAKED, and ginja had to watch thru the door - she was NOT HAPPY!

Hubby did take her out to potty and she went straight under a tree

My husband did this last year too - donated 12 inches of hair. But all he did was let his ponytail grow out for awhile then get it trimmed. He still had plenty enough left for a ponytail - you could do that LCRT.

Great job!! We are planning to donate to locks of love with my 5 yr old's hair once it gets a few inches longer, it's about 2 inches from her bum now. Her hair grows so fast and it would be nice not to fight with tangles etc for awhile

I'm planning to donate mine after our wedding in October.

I wanna keep it nice and long for that, and then cut it. Hopefully it will still be long enough for a little pony tail. It's about mid back right now...

WOW That's great! I have been growing my hair out for about 7 months now (not that it is long or anything because I started out with a shaved head.) But I think I want to do this- grow it out and donate it to Locks of Love. Thanks for the great idea. My mother is a breast cancer survivor. I know how it is to watch a loved one lose all their hair to cancer.

Yayy for the dh!!

2 years ago I cut 13 inches off my hiar and sent it.

My 10 yr old youngest daughter has very long hair. To her bottom. It is very thick. She has been begging me to cut it and let her send the pony tail to locks of love.

I haven't completely decided yet. I know it is for a very good cause but I also know a 10 year old girl that might cry a long time when she realizes her curtain of hair is gone for a very long time. 15 inches would still leave her hair below her shoulder blades - but I just can't decide what is best for my DD.
